Avoid if you can. They just put in a bunch of scummy devices that record you, and show you your face, at the self checkouts. I'd rather not see myself in a mirror every time I shop, and your crappy little "I'm watching you" message is straight out of a dystopian novel.
Not many checkers available. If you want out fast, you have to check yourself out. And to get an oil change, usually 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait. Have to wait alot of times for person to come to paint department. Prices that are below the item and what is charged is different. Example: steak is suppose to be $7.98 a pound, but package shows $9.98 per pound. Told them about this once. Girl at checkout haf no idea what to do. Charged me $7.98. But package wasnt a pound. Haf to go to service deak to straighten this out. Went in tonight and still marked 2 different prices. Not a good selection of items either. Workers are friendly.
Nice store with friendly staff. Pharmacy staff are very friendly and helpful. Many people from surrounding towns shop at this Walmart. A lot of times, they have run out of certain products. They might consider ordering more than a typical Walmart, due to the large volume of their store's sales.
Sadly, there isn't much choice around here. I'd love a target to come into town right about now.

Typical Wal-Mart. Never enough lanes open and it is ALWAYS busy. Self checkout is nothing but a headache because they never work properly. I have encountered many "not so nice" employees and a few wonderful ones.
I agree with other contributor that the self checkouts are now very intrusive. Why do I need to see myself while scanning my items and paying my bill? Why do other people around me and behind me get to stare at me while I'm doing this? They should be looking at my back not watching my purchases like a movie!
